He has a tendency to pick a diverse array of beats and its fun to listen to him try to make them work. They don’t always, and you almost get the sense that part of the reason is that he enjoys challenging himself. He also has a level of comfortability on the mic that makes you stick with him. And he screams pretty regularly and surprisingly it’s not off-putting. He says all he needs is a beat and a mic and a box of matches, and you are inclined to believe him.
