The LA Community Record Fair

Come out and support local music labels and artists at A Community Record Fair, presented by Dublab and The LA Record this Saturday, May 19 at The Echoplex. Record labels, stores, DJs and independent collectors will offer new and used vinyl, CDs, DVDs, cassettes and collectible rarities. Visual artists, bookstores and clothing designers will also present their creative gems at special prices. For artist olive47, who designed the stuffed creatures above, this will be one of her last appearances in LA as she prepares to move to London. “I’m selling plush dolls, handscreened T-shirts, prints, stickers and badges,” she says.

I&I Sound System will broadcast outside from their ice cream truck turned thumptastic mobile club. Live screen printing will be featured from HIT+RUN. The venue will also offer drink specials as Dublab DJs spin music. Aaaaaah, another summer day in Los Angeles…

Confirmed sales stars include:

Alpha Pup Records, Animal Charm, C Thomas Handbags, Dangerbird Records, Draftsmen, Dublab, Fee Fi FOfum, Frecuencia Modulada, GSL, HIT+RUN, Human Ear, King Rul-E, The LA Record, Meta Records, Melon Expander Records, olive47, pehr, Plug Research, Poobah Records, Show Pony, Simballrec, Stones Throw Records, Thorn01 Records, Tres, Ubiquity Records and many more.
