I titled this in a way that I hope helps get it the attention it deserves. I’m not familiar with Youtube’s controls around copyright but I hope they have a sophisticated way to validate claims. I played that video for my wife when it dropped and she was captivated enough to bring it up to me today. Doesn’t happen too often. The video is obviously a high quality production, with multiple settings and professional editing. “My Life” is an example of a song that benefits from thoughtful, well constructed visuals. As a fairly avid listener, I feel that sometimes videos don’t help bring anything else out of a track and sometimes visuals can undermine a song’s power. Not the case here. Peace to China Mac for taking the time to explain the situation.
