I recorded a cover of one of my favorite hip-hop songs from when I was a kid. Cool C “Glamorous Life”.
Cool C dropped ‘Glamorous Life’ in 1989 but underwent hard times afterwards and caught a murder charge as the result of a botched bank robbery in 1996. He was sentenced to death and is scheduled to be executed January 2015. I felt it was only right to drop an homage to one of my early influences and one of the songs that made me want to spit and make music.
