Porsche markets cars with pop up vinyl record store, except there are no actual vinyl records. Are we mice, and records cheese?

“The Sound of Porsche allows us to connect with new people in new ways,” said Andre Oosthuizen, vice president for marketing, Porsche Cars North America, at a preview of the space on Friday. “By creating a modern day music store, we are enabling individuals to experience Porsche through telling video.”

The stations offer 16 “records”; each is actually a short video. A visitor places a card that looks like an album cover on the station, dons a pair of $350 Bose headphones, and learns about, say, Porsches in racing or in Hollywood films. One choice explains Porsche design DNA with animated sketches.
