It’s crazy to me that 950 Plus can drop consistently good rap records, under the tutelage of DITC no less, and yet not get any where near the sort of noise thrown at marginally good artists that sloppily release recording sessions that would have historically been discarded by discerning A&Rs. I’m convinced most of y’all ain’t rap fans, for real. Just admit it, damn it. You were accidentally exposed to hip-hop when listening to an 80s Aerosmith record and decided to try it out when no one was looking. Fall back, don’t confuse the children.
