After receiving lots of love for his performance of “Let The Beat Ride“, Lyric follows up with a poem that serves as a sort of homage to his hip-hop heroes. Lacks the impromptu spirit and natural rhythm which sparked my initial interest. But can’t say I’ll avoid his future work like I plan on avoiding new LL Cool J.
