Peace. On vacation in Miami but wanted to take a minute to throw up this video blend that seems like it wasn’t going to make the rounds. Circa 1992 Johnny Depp (and others), a close friend of John Frusciante’s, shot this first person account of the aforementioned artist’s living conditions. The version here is set to the eerily appropriate track The Heart Gently Weeps by Wu-Tang Clan, the recording of which Frusciante took part in years later by contributing guitar. The original full 12 minute version of this short docu (after the jump) is even more heartfelt and disconcerting. I feel as though fanwork of this nature should not get lost in the shuffle. Props to WTM.
