Noreaga reacts to Tragedy Khadafi’s DVD. Also goes into the new CNN album and his reality show pilot. His language wasn’t that strong towards Trag, he just seems to want some props for his contributions. They should just dead it. Do people even care anymore? That record is 10 years old (sigh, I guess I do). Link (via SOHH)

Man, no offense to NORE but this clip looks like it’s rapper based reality concept, and subject matter (not wanting to drink soda water and still enjoying drinking it) are directly jacked from Kool Keith’s Global Enlightenment DVD). Still borrowing from the style inventor. As far as what that Tragedy documentary, I don’t think that he was really behind editing that film. Tragedy is still way more slept on than NORE is on any kind of notoriety status so that documentary was more about putting Trag in the proper perspective as having a hand in launching and mentoring these other artists from the Queensbridge nation. It’s been a minute since I watched the movie but that is my take. The is no space to be bigging up Noreaga’s hit songs. It is a somber art doc not vh1 behind the music.
Yeah I haven’t seen the Tragedy documentary for a long time but I would assume he had some say in the editing of the film. I mean, it is based on his life so I would hope Trag didn’t let Booker Sims shoot all that footage and then be done with it.
By the way, when is this DVD going to come out? Last I heard, clearing the music samples in the film was crazy expensive.
