The outcome is critical/Fuckin’ wit my style is sort of like a Miracle on 34th Street in the Square of Herald…
Sorry for the little flashback but I can’t believe it’s been almost 11 years since the Wu-Tang Clan released their classic debut. After three more studio albums and countless solos, the legendary crew is giving us all what we’ve desperately been waiting for…
… a greatest hits album? Ok, while this may not be what we had hoped, it’s a step in the right direction and is definitely long overdue. Slated for an October 26th release date, Legend of the Wu-Tang is packed with hits from their four studio albums along with some extra goodies. Luckily for us, the selected tracks gravitate more towards Enter the 36 Chambers and Wu-Tang Forever than The W and Iron Flag (although the last two are still solid releases).
But wait a minute folks because there’s more. On September 28th, look for the Disciples of the 36 Chambers: Chapter 1 CD to hit shelves. The CD portion contains a whopping 27 tracks along with unreleased videos for Chi Kung and Grits (both from Rza’s Birth of a Prince). Meanwhile, the DVD has extensive footage from Wu-Tang’s recent performance at the Rock the Bells festival in San Bernardino, California along with interviews with all but two of the clan members.
Ok, I am excited now.
Props to the good people over at Wu-Tang Corp for the info.
