Peppermill Records is a cool online label from Canada. I would say that they are based around electronic music. These guys put together all types of fun collaborative projects such as 30 songs in 30 days….where musicians had one day to write and record a song and pass it on to the next…
anyhow…
I just finished a song for their 52 short weeks project – in which 52 artists contribute 52 songs in 52 weeks…split up by seasons…Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall…
each musician has a week to write and record (although I happened to do mine in a day) and the songs should flow into eachother using some elements of one another…
for instance I used some drum samples from the song before mine by Sky Barstow….
also…the songs should be titled after a newspaper headline from that week…
there are bunch of great musicians on here including my friends Penny and Daedelus…
my song is called “Injuries Being Called Suspicious”
and it’s available for download in the month of Fall
