This is malcolm mclaren’s “bird in a gilded cage” which i produced with my partner at the time murray elias and malcolm. the year was 1987 or 1988. needless to say it was an amazing experience working with malcolm. he came to the studio with a head full of ideas and some waltz samples. we laid down the tracks and recorded the vocals at INS studios in nyc and mixed it at soundtracks studio i believe. edited by the late, great chep nunez. .great to hear it again. and grateful to have worked with him.
