Music and Politics both are nothing more than a popularity contest of persons who are the most heavily marketed and promoted. Did you really think B.E.T., MTV, GRAMMY’s or any other corporate sponsored program is going to go out of their way to find and promote the actual ‘Best’ musician or ‘Best’ lyricist over artists that make the corporations the most money? Wake up. Its shitty but the world don’t work like that.
