Sage On Russia Today a few months back discussing the interpretive nature of art and rap. Would you say these RT videos (Immortal Technique, AKIR, Sage etc) are subtle attempts to undermine conservative capitalist popular culture or is it obvious what their tone is? I find it a bit odd, who exactly is paying attention?
