Someone uploaded the entire Hip Hop Time Capsule DVD (trailer). Part 19 (seen above) features an interview with Parrish wherein you can get a sense for his perspective on the transition of the artist driven movement to the dollar driven industry. His lucidity here reminds me of how much I used to look forward to his interviews in those other things I used to read. Also, here’s a more recent (’08) discussion he had with DOITALL regarding the understream of CD sales, touring and sponsorships that he believed catalog holders should focus on. I’ve attended a few EPMD shows recently and I have to admit, each time I was crossing my fingers hoping he would perform some of his solo shit. Close second would be seeing him drive up to the spot in a Lambo.
