KRS-One and Buckshot performed last night at SOBs in support of their new album “Survival Skills.” If you’ve ever seen any of these dudes live, you know how they get down so no need to get into that any further. Even though both artists rocked the crowd lovely last night with new and old tracks, the real highlight for me (as always) were the freestyles and acapellas throughout. KRS and Buck did their thing but had stiff competition from the likes of Craig G, Shyheim and, most impressive of all, Pharoahe Monch. Not to be overshadowed, other dudes rocked as well including Heltah Skeltah, Immortal Technique and Tek (of Smif-N-Wessun).
