I was listening to the Jay-Z interviews on Angie Martinez and Funkmaster Flex and I noticed (besides calling Peedi Crack psycho) that he made it a point to mention he wasn’t freestyling anymore during these kinda media appearances. Reminded me of that first time I can remember Jay-Z being at Hot 97, same week that the Nutty Professor soundtrack had Foxy Brown, 12 O’Clock, Trigga and Smoothe up there too.
