I love me some 90s radio freestyles. This comes from a tape I recorded in 96 off Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito’s short-lived show on Sunday nights on Hot 97. Listening to Big Jaz spit, makes me wonder why didn’t he release a proper album at the time. In 1996-97, a Ski/Premier/DR Period/name your favorite producer produced album could have easily been a classic type record that would have solidified Jaz’s place in history as one of the best lyricists of all time while showcasing some of the same big will traits that cats were on at the time like O.C., Mic Geronimo, and Biggie (Not to mention his old MC pupil).
