Recorded a few weeks back at the Nokia Theatre in NYC. Good set except for the fact that it got cut way short because of time limitations. However, the most disturbing part of the night happened right after Gza finished his set and Rakim was ready to get on. There was a mass exodus of Wu-Tang Clan fans heading for the door. It marked the second time I’ve seen this exact situation go down. I love the Wu as much as anyone but are most of these cats so caught up in the Wu universe that they can’t appreciate other classic hip-hop acts? I hope not.
