I stay losing in 2016 but mostly monetarily, purchasing AAC audio files and mp3s that I couldn’t find on soundcloud or streaming somewhere, cassette releases that I’d rather bump on tape than stream (like the excellent 13th Floor), and limited edition 45s that I end up preferring to stream than play the record: J-Zone’s Go Back To Selling Weed, Doug Shorts (produced by San Francisco’s Mian Mein Ensemble), Fone-One, just to name a few.
