A lot of speculation and internet sleuthing going on. For what it’s worth, I am hopeful Troy Ave is innocent of at least some of the charges that the D.A.’s office is asserting. The outcome of that fatal night would suggest so, as does the strangely muted response from one of the most outspoken personalities running in these hip-hop internets. He broadcasted his podcast and didn’t bother to go in? It’s almost as bad as when Ice-T had his podcast and didn’t mention Afrika Bambaattaa.
Another stain for Hip-Hop to bear for the moment but let’s see how things play out. RIP Shanduke McPhatter and much love to his family and friends.
