This track was initially started as the intro to what turned into the Late Pass LP released Oct 2013. I took a arms full of 90’s hip hop albums, and cut up all the interlude voices and lines i could. Odd Nosdam and i decided that it didn’t really fit the vibe of the album, so i shelved it for that album. Lateef the Truth Speaker hit me up for some beats for the new LATYRX:THE SECOND ALBUM. Which turned “my name jeff” into “Gun Control”.
