Swift’s Garage Vol. 10: “INTRICATE”
Hard to explain what intrigues me about these series of videos. Dudes rep Bay Area but remind me more of Harmony Korine’s Xenia, Ohio. The rappin’ ain’t technically proficient yet enough rhythm is present to grab my attention (and generally not off-putting to the point of unlistenability). Content could be construed as on the vulgar side, especially w/ videos like this, but I think that interpretation might have to do more with my preconceived notions of beauty (BBW fetishes do occur) and political correctness. Most importantly (to me) the production is interesting and heavily influenced by breaks and sinister harmonies. More videos after the jump, gets more wtf? as you scroll down.
