He’s a funny dude. He goes in about how the media spins shit a certain way cause he’s white. Man do I wish there was footage of cats trying to interview him (even though I know most of these cheezy interviews are over the phone or via email). I got a feeling he would put them in their place, and it would be entertaining to watch, unlike most video interviews.
A few days ago we threw up the cover art to his upcoming compilation album, Legendary Classics, and someone left a snide comment about how “Legendary” and “Classics” ain’t appropriate terms for RA. To each his own I guess. I happened to click on said commenter’s site and after skimming some stuff I ended up watching an interview the kid did with Chali 2na of Jurassic 5. The interview is mostly 2na taking over and like one or two awkward uninspired questions but from what the kid writes he appears to have a great fondness for J5 and The Good Life movement they spawned from. Cool.
I couldn’t help but wonder though, what if that wasn’t 2na, what if that was RA he was interviewing? How would that go down?
