When I saw American Gangster one of the things that had me buggin’ was that the Rza played a police officer. I thought it was great that he did that instead of playing the stereotypical thug. Interesting to discover that the Rza actually tried out for a thugish role but was selected to be a cop directly by Ridley Scott. via the constantly updated Wu-Tang Mountain blog. They got that Raekwon video interview also, where he’s beefin’ about internal wu-conflict.
