The Hip Hop TakeOver is a 29 hour radio event that can be heard on WBAI 99.5 FM in New York twice a year, once in June then in November.
We cater towards the gritty, underground, politically conscience audience, as well as the mainstream commercial crowd. We give a mix in Hip Hop Radio that you will hear no place else throughout the New York, New Jersey, & Connecticut region.
The next TakeOver starts at 7pm (EST) November 10th and last 29 hours, and can be heard on WBAI 99.5 FM or WBAI.org.
