To speak longingly for exposure to the purity of capitalist-free hip-hop and in the next breath frame Castro as a Dictator who usurps all monies for some kind of personal revolution is a mode of thought at the core of what I would want a documentary about Cuban American visitors exploring Hip-Hop and family-history firsthand in Cuba to be about. And although I don’t think that’s the planned focus of this hypothetical film (I’m not sure but I don’t think it’s been Kickstarted as yet) that is the main reason I would watch it, and of course for the possibility of hearing new Cuban music, which, after listening to some of the commentary in this trailer, one might imagine is hard to come by, but has actually been fairly well covered in recent times.
