Prince Whipper Whip and his wife, Kenyetta, chose to move to Michigan after spending many years in Los Angeles. The couple and their children, James, Josh, Sarah and Grace, have been living in Monroe about eight years.
He has moved on from the fast-paced lifestyle of the music business, and has settled into a new lifestyle in the Midwest. He and his family attend Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center and are actively involved in the church. Mr. Whipper also produces Pentecostal Poets, a group formed by his sons. They perform at the church every Wednesday night.
