The 1959 Irving Fields Trio jewish-latin fusion LP Bagels and Bongos has been reissued by Reboot Stereophonic, a new label founded by a professor at the University of California and random music executives that specialize in Jewish music/culture. Irving Fields is a pioneer on the Moog synthesizer and still plays 6 nights a week at Nino’s Tuscany, a restaurant on West 58th Street at 90 years old.
