Thanx for the correction Keith!

Special Ed's flow was sooo crazy!

Although Im not a Rick Ross fan, I really dug how he had Special Ed in that "Maginificent" video.

My favorite Tribe album is definitely Midnight Marauders!

No offense, Junclassic, but #8 is not supposed to be about Illegal. "Legal" and "Youngest in Charge" are the names of the first two albums Special Ed dropped and those are what he's comparing.

I agree with J-Zone that Fear of a Black Planet is a better album than Nation of Millions. I've always thought so. Nation of Millions was more ground-breaking in its time, but Fear of a Black Planet is a tighter album. Hearing Nation of Millions for the first time had a much bigger impact on me than Fear did, but when it came to actually listening to them, Fear completely dominated.

As for Tribe Called Quest, I have a hard time deciding if I like People's Instinctive Travels better or Low End Theory better. They're both really good. I would definitely agree that Midnight Marauders is third. But I actually think that The Love Movement was pretty good and way better than Beats, Rhymes, and Life. I think that it actually wound up getting looked down on in part because of the bonus tracks. If you bought it when it dropped, the CD included 6 bonus tracks at the end. They included some essential Tribe stuff (Scenario remix) and some poor stuff (Hot Sex on a Platter - worst Tribe song ever), but more importantly, it broke up the vibe of the album entirely. If you listen to The Love Movement without the bonus tracks, it's an entirely different album and much more coherent and appealing. I think that if they had pressed the bonus tracks on a second CD instead of the end of the album, the critical reception might have been very, very different.
