i agree the lack of knowledge is a shame (i.e. prince paul) …its a shame that hip hop music cant keep the innovators of the culture in its collective consciousness like jazz music or blues,where artists are still relevant beyond the ten year mark. this seems to be what happens when your main aim is to commercialize ala’ ringtone,shoeline,nifty little buckdance that compliments your lack of content or risk. eventually you end up with a group of 16 year olds with their “slate wiped clean” every 10-15 years.but those are the folks that are being marketed to primarily..its unfortunate.

That new Souls Of Mischief single is ill.
Can’t wait for the album. Hopefully It’s What I’m expecting from them or better.

Alot people are sleeping on that “Vulture’s Wisdom” by Opio.
But I expected That.

That’s way Hip Hop is dying. It’s not like alot of Underground artist aren’t putting out dope shit.

It’s the so-call real Hip Hop heads and fans who are not supporting dope music when it comes out. That’s way Hip Hop is dying.

Maybe alot of commercial and mainstream rappers are putting out weak and wack shit.
But that’s not who I listen to anyway. Fuck them. I don’t care what they put out.

Only five people knew who Prince Paul was.
That’s A Fucking Shame. And These People Claim To be Hip Hop Lovers. Looked like most of the audience was white. That’s Not A Suprised To Me. Phony Fucks. Straight Posers.

You might judge their lack of hip hop knowledge due to the audience’s ages. Maybe they were to young to remember who Prince Paul was. I don’t know. but alot of white kids like to pose and front. They like to dress act and talk the part. They like to dress in hop hop clothing, but really don’t know shit about the culture.

I’ll leave it at that.
