This is offensive on so many levels, I can’t even muster the words. The worst thing is that he is selling these cds and dvds with full margins trying to make a profit. And he probably has convinced plenty of church’s to pay for his appearances. Link

Q.E.P.D.

I have not heard the CD about hip hop, I just heard some comment he made a=on a radio show he had. I have to agree with on a spiritual level, that Hip hop is from the devil because the bible says; If you are not for me you are against me and I truly believe there is a THIN (knife sharp thin) line between what is of God and what is of the devil.
Hip Hop is about marketing the life of self exultation fron it’s inception, Murder, Sex.
The Question we need to ask ourself, Is hip hop GODLY INSPIRED? if no! then
IT is DEVIL INSPIRED! there are two forces working on earth, and satan is the prince of this world.
with that said We can even look at Gospel music itself, the origins are from africa where people worship many spirits, they are anamism, polytheism, and voodootheism while christianity is monotheism.
Before I listen to anything that the EXministries did by myself I knew that The origins of hip hop culture was of the devil.
We have to stop looking at the devil as some hideous creature with a pitch fork and a red leotard, He is the most beautiful creature to ever been created, and God in his infinite wisdom ssaw it fit to leave satan with all the beauty and magnificence he had in heaven before he was cast down. SATAN IS BEAUTIFUL AND CUNNING AND HE WANT TO MESS USS UP, SO THAT WE WILL NOT BE WILLING TO CHOOSE GOD ANYMORE. HE want to extinguish the God in his world called Earth.
Wow that is so true. If it isn’t God inspired than it is from the devil, tell me how many hip-hop artist truely glorify God in the music the make, And just because they say I will like to thank god doesn’t mean anything. Every one see most of their life style and they are in no way glorifying God in their life style or the music they make, so why would they say “I would like to thank god” it’s blasphemy; all hip-hop artist make music contrary to what is preached in the Bible, and than they want to make Christian songs , Christianity meand “CHRIST LIKE” and action speak louder than words so if your life isn’t lined up with christ then you’re not a christian.
I watched the DVD and before anyone says anything watch the DVD, they have images on the wu-tang website where the “W” that stands for wu-tang cuts of the head of Jesus, sucks his soul out and go an make the wu-tang clan memebers. I use to listen to hip-hop and i know for a 1000000% now that hip-hop is from the Devil, even the way it started, we need to get educated about things.
Hip-HOp: is an organize religion that urges us to be gods and stop worshipping GOd. It says that we are our own God.
Think about artisit such as DMX, Bone THugs and harmony etc.. in one of bone thugs and harmony song they talk about, “putting a grenade in a womans p***y, strangling baby etc…..
I saw the DVD, IT IS 100000% from the devil.
I SAW THE TAPES ONE AND TWO AND MY LIFE HAS NOT BEEN THE SAME SINCE.ITS SO AMAZING THE WAY YOU SEE SOMETHING AND NOT REALLY KNOW EXACTLY THE IMPLICATIONS UNTIL YOU HEAR A SERMON LIKE THIS AND THEN SUDDENLY,ITS LIKE A REVELATION.
I’VE HAD TO CALL EVERY ONE I KNOW AND TELL THEM ABOUT THIS REVELATION.I SHOWED THE VIDEO TO THOSE I COULD AND YOU CAN’T IMAGINE THE SHOCK THEY FELT.THE FACTS ARE JUST WITHOUT ANY SHADOW OF DOUBT.THANK GOD FOR SUCH A MESSAGE THAT COMES ESPECIALLY AT A TIME LIKE THIS,WHEN HIPHOP IS ALL OVER THE PLACE.THANK GOD

I have seen this DVD and i do agree with wat he had to say because i have taken time to look at these hip hop stars and wat they produce, a good example Nas has an ablum titled “Gods son” i still don’t know why he chose this is an ablum title to start with.
However looking at the background these some of these stars come from it was not Godly (50 sold drugs to get by) and alot of them lived in poverty, so hip hop was the only way to get them out of it, its like going to a witchdocter and telling him make me rich its almost similar case here, and also why do we have to PAY 4 these DVDS which have such a positive message, wats the contrast with paying 4 a hip hop cd then.
Elder G Craig Lewis speaks the truth. After listening to the DVDS,I can honestly say that my opinions about Hip-Hop(Holy or other wise)have been changed. All the infomation was insightful and enlightening. While watching and listening I sat in amazement, wondering and thinking back on my own life and remembering how I was caught on the hook of Hip-Hop. This message was really meant to effect lives, families, even the whole world, not just the youth. After having the truth shown to you, you have two choices, believe it or not. I will go on record and say, if you watched the DVDS and walked away still not convinced, you will never believe, even if Christ Himself came and told you personally.
As a born again Christian for a number of years, I have always known the importance of what you see and hear, the bible quite clearly states that you should set no wicked things before your eyes and whatever you see or hear goes into your heart and your soul……..and yet i have always listened to hip hop, even with blatant profanity and sexual references. I knew it wasnt good to for me to hear but i didnt think about it too much.
I thank God right know for Craig Lewis’s life and the purpose that He has put in him cos Im telling you, that his message (Gods message) changed and saved my life! I was absolutely horrified to know the origins and the meanings behind the songs and the very nature of the actual artists themselves, you cant deny the truth or the facts, its as plain as day!
Even if you want want to ignore Gods word and the conviction thats within you, you can easily go do some research on the internet an see for youself! Its so deep, the Holy Spirit filled me with such conviction I was practically in tears with remorse! I just cant believe how misleading, deceitful and down right demonic these artists are and how much I used to listen to their music, even after I was saved. I have an Ipod which hasnt worked for about six months (it wont update when I plug it in) I took it back to the store and they told me it was broken but as it was still playing music i kept it. I had 586 songs in my library and after hearing the truth about hip hop I erased well over 300 songs….. so when i plugged the Ipod into the computer just to see if by chance it would update (cos obviously I didnt want that nonsense on my Ipod), would you believe it started working again! A testimony to Gods awesome power and grace Amen! I just pray that like it says in the bible, whoever has ears to hear let them hear this message and I just pray that it continues to set people free from gloriying Satan and worshipping everything that is anti God and anti Scripture. You know I think what people are missing is the bigger picture. By continuing to support hip hop music you are directly disobeying and sinning against GOD Himself…….I think that everyone knows that if you disrespect God, your father in Heaven, at some point in time you are going to be punished. Would you rather stop listening to a few beats and silly men running around brandishing guns and gloriying evil now or……..end up in HELL with those very same people for ETERNITY! You may think Im being dramatic but I didnt say it, God did and he wants to save you fro that. Please consider Craig Lewis’s message (Gods message) long and hard cos it truly is a matter of life and death.
I have seen the DVDs, and I have to say… THANK YOU JESUS!!!!! I was the BIGGEST Hip Hop fan in the world! I loved hip hop with my whole heart. After watching the DVD, I threw out every cd, poster, and feeling for that satanic music. HIP HOP IS SATANIC!!!! It’s just another trick of Satan to bring people to worship him, and deny our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST! Think about it… What does Hip Hop promote????? Sex, Druds, Murder, Violence, self Exaltation, Lust, Adultery…. SIN!!!!! The devil is a LIAR, and he has used his gift of music to lure people… the world into his trap. The origins of Hip Hop are evil, and were “DEMONically” inspired! Research it and see for yourself!
I thank God for the life of Carl Lewis, i have 2 be honest, i havent seen it but my friend showed me the website and after seeing all those arguments i can honestly say that never agiain will HIP HOP have an establishment in my life, i live in London so i cant really get hold of those CD’S.
but even without the DVd’s me and a couple of freinds have started research into all the goings on EL SHADDAI i thank you for delivering me from being a part time christian
The Powerful message of god sent thru Elder G. Craige Lewis was amazing. i have viewed all 3 series and also what the church needs to know about hip hop.we must really pray for this man of God because the enemy wishes to destroy him, even when i attempted to show this message to a youth group”and parents” i felt like i was almost crucified, but nevertheless i will stand for that wich is true(God’s word).music is so very powerful i can remember the times i strayed from God it “all ways had a theme song” it always started with a song i heard, the i wanted to groove, then what ever the song was suggesting would soon manifest in my life..i thank God for deliverance!!!!!! prophetess jennetta from la,ca
wow…. I just ….
Everytime I come across EX Ministries and the discussion of Hip Hop, I want to invite all those involved to my house so that we can study Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and listen to Timothy Brindle’s “Vanity(remix)”. Then we could read Romans 1-3 and listen to shai linne’s “Justified”. What most people gloss over in this discussion is that there are some who are called to preach to the Remnant that will recieved the word of God through some of these people (I’m talking about the ones that God had truly called to minister through music), and that the Remnant is within the context of Hip Hop Culture. I may never look at this post again (I found it through a google search), but please if you are reading this, and you listen to Hip Hop, search for audio clips by the two artists I mentioned above. Their wbesite is http://www.lampmode.com. Hit me on their forum (my user name over there is loercase). I’d love to continue this discussion….
I have listened to Minister Craig Lewis and found many errors in his definition of Hip Hop and that it is analogous to the anti-Christ and/or evil. He maintains that he has studied Hip Hop and its effect on the youth for 14 years. The basis of these statements indicates his lack of knowledge (firsthand or otherwise) about the real Hip Hop. He asserts that Zulu Nation created Hip Hop; however, Kool Herc is the individual credited for paving the way for Hip Hop. He also states that the word “hip-hop” is derived from the word poh pih backwards, which is a Greek mathematical equation. Unfortunately, that is another erroneous statement. Anyone can arrive at or attach well-meaning words and actually have no etymological bearing. Quite easily, individuals can mistakenly mislead others and make any word fit their needs and/or agenda.
If an individual decided that placing the letters in reverse had some credence then some words would be abominable. Take for instance, “live = evil and God = dog”. Additionally, if a parent decided to name their female child “Inja” because it sounded nice and exotic, most would not know that translated it means dog in another language (isiZulu). If the parent were aware that the translation is dog, I am very certain the child would not be named that. Today, many young people and sometimes older, name their children after entertainers or whatever is the trend. If you research a particular era you will find that in the 90’s many Black girl’s names had suffixes of -isha and -qua. In days gone by that was unheard of. In biblical times, children were given names that had meaning and spiritual significance. Some cultures still practice this (African, Jewish, Asian) but as more and more cultures become westernized, they are losing one aspect that also brought our children closer to God and that was their name.
Minister Lewis does not have concrete evidence that will make his statements accurate. Most people are not schooled in the ways of Hip Hop. I have been into Hip Hop (which by the way is not the original term) for the last 31 years and I have participated (rapped, DJ, danced etc) and later observed and studied the growing trend, allure and destructive aspects of Hip Hop. I do agree that Hip Hop has changed adversely in the last 20 years, but it is not the Anti-Christ (evil in origin) as Minister Lewis suggests. If that was the case then December 25, Christmas (which originally was a celebration of the sun god mithra along with other pagan gods) should not be celebrated because it has its origins rooted in evil (a false god). I recommend taking the good and discarding the bad like any other subject. There are many positive rappers, which comprise only a part of the many branches connected to this tree called Hip Hop. Now, I do believe that the face of Hip Hop (Rap in particular) needs to change for the better along with many other forms of music such as R&B, heavy metal, rock etc.
I believe that Minister Lewis is perpetrating a prevarication (lie) on the youth to promote and sell DVDs and shows. Instead, our energy should be directed as a movement to uplift and change the direction that Hip Hop is going in and not to try to destroy a music form that the youth (Black youth) created. The music (not all) is not and was not what Hip Hop was intended to be. However, just as anything in this world can start as a good thing but in the hands of greedy, misdirected, ungodly individuals can become tainted and destructive. Minister Lewis should really concentrate on ensuring that his facts are accurate. When Jesus (Yashua) was here he did not go to the so-called righteous but went to the sinners to lift them up and to bring sinners into the truth, not to tear them down. In addition, if Minister Lewis is preaching the Bible then he should recognize this one, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone”.
Critise the man (Craig Lewis) as much as you want. That’s you’re choice. But criticise the word from the Lord at your peril.
We think that we can handle and know all about the spiritual world! Demonic forces that come in many shapes and forms. Satan can transform himself into an angel of light so don’t be deceived by his tactics. He can even come in the form as an innocent child!
We can’t do anything without the Holy Spirit.
Stop looking at Craig Lewis and focus on the message then. Jesus was criticised and he said ok even if you don’t believe me, believe me for the works sake.
I believe this message from the Lord (through Craig Lewis) 100% from the top of my head to the soul of my feet.
Even if there are errors in his delivery – he has opened my eyes to hip hop artist who glorify themselves and disdain my Saviour with no remorse, singing things like “Murder Jesus” – may the Lord rebuke that spirit of satan.
If anyone wants to continue to justify hip hop in anyway – you can do it personally in front of God on judgement day.
The bible says sing praises unto God with understanding.
The eyes of our understanding is now being enlightened – let’s not be ignorant and reject it.
God raised Pharaoh just to tear him down – don’t mess with God!
I think ex ministries is garbage
I have seen Part 1,2, and 3 of the dvds and I have to say that regardless of what people may think, this message has certainly brought truth and understanding to me and everyone around me. I see that after Mr.Lewis brought his information to the table a bible scripture came right after that for proof. What I am confused on is the youth of America today!!! Mr. Lewis is speaking what is real and still the youth are questioning his message. What else do you need???? I don’t know one rap or hip-hop song that is positive without cursing. If you need more to be convinced then maybe you already are, but not by the Lord.
i went on the websit and shocked i froze and then i realised that i have stop listeninge the music i new it would hard but i know God will help me.
kool herc brung dj skils from jamaica afika babatta took the word hip hop from a rapper starski

Greeetings…
I saw Elder Lewis videos…I will admit that Elder Lewis is right about exposing hip hop and it contradictios, sexual and violent comments….However Hip Hop is not the devils music. He is wrong about this and so are people who believe this. Let state my case:
MUSIC: Sound pleasing to the ears.
To accuse hip hop is to acuse music itself. The problem is the content of the music.
Now if I take to sicks and start beating a drum…is that evil???certainly not!
why because I can sing a nice song to it to praise GOD, and that will please GOD. In Timothy he said that is any man is happy the he should sing.
Let’s take the story of David for example….He had to play a musical intrument to clam Samuel down when he went crazy…No check this…I will say that when the sodomites an sinners for that matter held parties back then they used similar instruments…That will make David’s music satanic right??? Wrong??? Is the content of the music itself… Hip Hop can be re-habilitated and I have heard good Hip Hop, clean and giving god praises….
Elder Lewis fails to point this out…why is he leaving this out???
Also before I forget…Puffy and all the artits he is talking about are ENTERTAINERS…They never said they were Christians or born again so What are we to expect from them???
Why don’t he reach out to this artisit instead??? Yes, he is pointing out a problem…but he is not posing a solution….Someone should ask him to get all those artist that he is talking about together and he should deliver the same message, maybe he will win their souls to God. They can turn around and use their art for the Lord.
IN RESPECT TO THE LAST BLOGGER, ELDER G LEWIS IS TO BE COMMENDED FOR DOING JUST WHAT GOD CALLED HIM TO DO, PLANT THE SEED. THAT IS IT THAT IS ALL GOD CALLED HIM TO DO. WHAT IS GOD CALLING YOU TO DO MAYBE YOUR THE ONE THAT IS SUPPOSE TO WATER????(…LET EVERY MAN TAKE UP HIS OWN CROSS…) THE WORD SAYS THAT ONE PLANTS, ONE WATERS AND GOD WILL GIVE THE INCREASE.
Anyone who has seen this video and still believe’s he’s lying or making this up. It all boils down to one thing you just don’t want to change, and thats the truth. Because its to hard to look at this video and not feel anything. Its just that you love the life style that your in whether it be hip hop, lust, sin, ect you just don’t want to change. Its crazy to me that you can even still have argument against it. He came to our church didn’t charge nothing, didn’t lift an offering, and people were being saved and delivered from demons, and people stills got the nerve to argue against what he’s saying. People come on, i know the devil hasn’t got that good right.
Not to the last post, but the one before it.
I used to think that the music could still be positive it was all about the lyrics. If there wasn’t any thing about sex, drugs or violence in the song then it was a good song and I could listen to it. BUT….
The thing these dvds have taught me is that it is not about the words of the song, but about the spirit behind it. If someone is living a life of sin then what they will produce is sin.
The fact that these artists never said they were christian is a mute point. Are we to listen to someone that says there is no God and not be bothered about it just because they aren’t christian? No, do we hang out with someone who is a murder and say it’s okay for them to kill just because they don’t proclaim to be a christian.
To the idea that “There are many positive rappers, which comprise only a part of the many branches connected to this tree called Hip Hop.” I am into science and planting. A truthful law is that if the root is poisoned then the entire tree gets poisoned (that means the branches, bark, flowers, fruit and seed of the fruit).
For me I am not mad at those that don’t know. It’s the ones that know, but are covering it up and just saying it’s music. (Research the idea of the “5%”)
I have seen the first dvd and i was shocked. i cant believe i allowed that type of negativity to come into my life. i grew up in the church and i slid away but i never went to far from the heard. i do think that this music along with other types of music is in alot of ways demonic, reason being they do talk about things that are not pleasing to GOD. This dvd really helped me to wake up and see why as a child i had so much hate for someone that wore another color or why i could’nt really have a relationship with my earthly father because to me at the time that music was my father and my god because i put that and all the things they talk about first in my life. Now that i am a grown man and have a child of my own i dont want that secular music to come between me and my son. And for those of you that want to say that Elder Lewis is wrong for what he is trying to do is wrong. I believe this man is really doing GODs work. and for people to sit there and critisize him is wrong too. After watching this dvd i broke all of my cds that i once loved so much, because there was a time insted of my going to GOD with my problems i went to that music and i would let it take me away. now if you dont think music is a powerful thing and you think Elder Lewis doesn’t know what he is talking about then why are you so quick to defend that music. If you truly want GOD to come into your life no matter what anyone says about hip-hop, rap, etc; You wouldent want to defend something that doesn’t glorify the LORD. I just want to say this to all the other religens hint, hint the 5%, dont get me wrong i am not her to judge anyone but i know my GOD is real because my GOD is the only GOD that died and rose again. Now tell my did your god do that? Are is he or she still in the ground.
The fundamental problem is one of attachment… That’s how the enemy works… Divide and conquer — his tactics from the very beginning… He always seeks to build spiritual strongholds within each of us with which he can can cause oppression which leads to depression which leads to obsession and finally possession… The music was what he was created originally created for… It was his purpose to glorify Almighty God… Music is his domain… Therefore his mastery of it allows him a tactical advantage in spiritual warfare (particularly if you do not recognize that you are in a spiritual war!)… Remember Body of Christ, what we are up against… Also remember that through our Lord and Savior we already have the victory! I now pray, Lord let me not write but your precious Holy Spirit in Jesus name, Amen. Consider the following: 1/3rd of the heavenly host fell with Satan… That is 1/3rd of eternity! Just fathom that… All of that causing problems for us down here on earth… That is what we are up against!Do not think that the enemy of our first ancestor is not going to use every tactic he can especially when he knows his time is short? Of course he is! He still seeks to kill and destroy… We must be ever vigilant… Our job is to spread the Good News of our Lord and Savior and defeat the enemy at each and every turn… Pray to support the truth of the ExMinistry message and the one who is revealing it… Pray for our families and those ensnared by the enemy… Of course the enemy is coming against this truth! It exposes him and his tactics flat out! Pray for those who argue without direction from the Lord so that can discern the truth and be empowered by it! Apply the blood of Jesus! Research more… Pray more… Study more… Love more… And may you and I and all servants of our Lord be blessed in all that you do! Remember we are the light of the world! And… If it ever seems to get too tough or rough for you, just remember this: When it all comes down in the end… WE WIN! In Jesus precious, righteous and holy name! Amen!
To begin with, it is a sad sad day when someone is given the type of power and authority to twist things around to utilize for his own personal agenda. When I logged on to Exministries site, I was apalled. On it was just, to speak plainly, downright mean and hurtful things about people who he has probably never spoken with or had any type of conversation with to understand where they are coming from! The entire mood was just judgemental and so unchristen-like. How dare someone speak about someone else’s ministry and say it is not of God!? Who are you to pass judgement on anyone? Yes, I agree that some rap artist are far out there, but he or anyone else has absolutely no right to judge anyone else’s faults. We were not all saved for all of our lives like Donny McClurkin sang: “For a saint is just a sinner who fell down”…..or does ex-ministries have anything to say about him, too? From this ministry I feel greed, selfishness, pride, unfair judgement, and the desire to hurt, but I shall not judge. I will say, however, that I am 18 years old, so hip hop and r&b have been in my life since I was born. I have been saved since I was 13, filled with the holy spirit since I was 14, praise dancing since I was eight years old, and I am anointed by God. I have been blessed so many times, saved from the devil so many times, touched so many times, spoken in tongues so many times, worshiped and praised so many times….and I listen to r&b and rap all the while.
This comment is to the one whose opinion appears directly above.
You say you are filled with the Holy Ghost but you still listen to R&B and rap? I strongly question that. It has been irrefutably proven that R&B and rap, among other genres, do not glorify God. Neither did these types of music originate in the body of Christ. If you are born again and spirit-filled like you say, how is it that you can, in good conscience, embrace anything that DOES NOT glorify God? Explain that to me. Your flesh may desire it, but the Spirit of God in you will reject it, as the Holy Spirit is drawn to the things of God. I agree with Exministries 200%. They tell it like it is. What think ye? Is it judgmental to tell someone that fire burns? Am I judging you when I say that you’ll get burned if you play with fire? Open your eyes! Not only does exministries make the comments that they do, but they also produce evidence to support what they’re saying, along with scriptural references that puts the icing on that instructional cake. What more do you need? Since you say that you are filled with the Holy Ghost, then I should assume that you do read your bible, correct? Romans 12:2 tells us not to be conformed to this world. What is rap and R&B a product of? 1 Timothy 5:20 instruct exministries and all preachers to rebuke those that sin IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY! So if you have any problem with that, you take it up with the Author of the bible, God Himself. Exministries is doing what they are supposed to be doing, and God is pleased. Many pastors are compromising and are afraid to speak loudly against sin and error for fear of losing member, losing their tax-exempt status, losing friends, being persecuted. Well, they criticized Jesus the same way you are criticizing this man of God. Jesus spoke out against everything that wasn’t right. Didn’t He call the Pharisees hypocrites to their faces? It’s in the scriptures. If we see error and sin anywhere we are SUPPOSED TO speak against it. That’s what God commanded us to do, so what is your complaint? I can go on and on, but time won’t permit me. In closing, just check this scripture out – Isaiah 58:1.
Peace!
This is rediculous. Some of my best quiet times came from inspirational words spoken from an emcee. Believe what you all want, but no one not even these “awesome” tapes will change my mind about hip-hop.
God can, will, does use hip-hop to reach alot of kids. I was and still am one of ‘em.
it is the Spirit of God that draws my friend and not music
All I have to say is: God created it:man perverted it.
In the beginning, the origin of anything and everything in this world was good in God’s eyes and heart.
But now, God created it; man perverted it.
Sex—-once sacred and holy, now perverted(porn, incest, homosexuality, beastiality, etc) and silenced in the church.
Drums—once played as the heartbeat of God to exalt Him now used in seductive ways and worshipping satan.
Music—once only used for praise and worship of the Most High God now perverted and used for man’s glory and gain.
Money—once to provide order and establishments in the world God created, now greed, stealth, and pride has engulfed it in the world and church.
Hip-Hop–regardless of who came out with it first and perverted it, and who’s making millions off of it today and who got killed from it. Its origin was to glorify God and His eternal existence. I do not agree with “anti-Christ” music but i do support and will always support Christian hip-hop artist and rappers.I am a firm believer in Christ, HolyGhost filled and sanctified. We have to take back what God has ordained righteous and His. Satan is ticked off at Christian Hip-Hop. IT is taking his followers away. Remember when gospel and Christian contemporary musci first came out; it was a sin to listen to. “Anything that had drums, not read from a hymnal, had an upbeat was truly from satan himself.” IT was banned from the church. Thank God people finally realized that God created the music and people slowly accepted it. Christian rap and Hip hop is now going through the same cycle. Remember NO MATTER WHAT CULTURE, DENOMINATION, AND CHRISTIAN GENRE (RAP, HIP-HOP, ROCK, SKA, TECHNO, CONTEMPORARY, JAZZ, ETC), GOD WILL REACH YOU. HE IS AWARE OF HOW TIMES (YEARS) CHANGE AND HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT MUSIC YOU WOULD GROW UP WITH AND HE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT MUSIC YOU WOULD GROW TO LOVE. PLEASE BE WISE AND DONT PUT GOD IN A BOX, LIKE OTHER PEOPLE DO. HE ESTABLISHED PEOPLE WHO ARE ANOINTED AND BLESSED TO SING THE MUSIC YOU LOVE BUT TO SING IT IN ITS ORIGIN FORM, TO, TO GLORIFY HIM. YOU ARE SO BLESSED BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER RELIGION IN THIS WORLD WHOSE god WILL MAKE MUSIC THAT WILL FIT YOUR CULTURE AND GENRE. DONT LET ANYONE TAKE THAT AWAY FROM YOU. HE IS THE EVERYLOVING AND EVERLASTING GOD, HE IS EL SHADDAI. MUCH LOVE AND GOD BLESS.
I fully respect Mr. Lewis because he is an elder in the church but i come before him as the wise boy, Elihu, in Job 32:8-9.
There is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. Great men are not always wise, nor do the aged always understand justice.
We have to look at how he confronted the issue also. Did he go to his brothers and sisters and talk to them before making them a public spectacle. He has so many Christian artist on his website that he is condemning. IS THAT THE WAY JESUS TAUGHT US TO HANDLE SITUATIONS? NO, NO, NO. There is order to everything. His approach was wrong and to say that all Christian rappers are bad is ignorance. I know many Holy-Spirit filled ministers of Christian Hip-Hop. Mr. Lewis makes a public spectacle of “Ambassador” on his website by playing “Ambassadors” quotes about what he believes in. Not one time did I hear him say let’s pray for him. He only laughed. Just because one Christian Hip-Hop artist has different beliefs than him does not catagorize every Christian hip-hop artist. I know many Christian Hip-hop artist that speak in tongues, heal people, minister, work in the five-fold ministry, etc. They are used by God and many youth turn away from the world. I can go on and on but time limits me. Dont let anyone limit God and His infinite wisdom.
P.S. a lot of people have not researched the word Hip-Hop or its roots. We should not condemn them for that ignorance but teach them the truth. Have you researched where “MIMES” originated from, many praise teams mime in the church, or the actual “Church building” mentality came from? We are not of this world, but in itI will not condemn you but pray that God leads you to the truth.
who is he to judge men in general! thats Gods job!!!God allows everything to happen for a reason, so hip hop did not just cum from the devilbecuz if god didnt want it he has the power to destroy it completely! and juss becuz the message is negative that does not mean every1 thinx like that! everybody is different!THERE IS SONGS IVE LISTENED 2 AND WHERE STRAIGHT EVIL BUT THEY DIDNT MAKE ME WANNA DO ANYTHUNG EVIL! MUSIC DOESNT CONTROLU ,U CONTROL URSELF!ITS ALL ABOUT UR FAITH FOR THE BIBLE SAY(ROMANS 14-2)1 MANS FAITH ALLOWS HIM 2 EAT EVERYTHING WHILE ANOTHER MANS FAITH THAT IS WEAK EATS ONLY VEGITBLES!!!THAT APPLIES TO ALL SITUATIONZ!AND IF U WANNA RESPOND EMAILE ME AT BRANDONJAMESEASTERLY@YAHOO.COM
Fact of the matter is, the one thing he does make a valid statement about is teh fact that music can make you want to do things you would not nessicarily want to do. Music in general is extremely powerful. proof of that Is in me. Ive walked around for a whole day listening to straight rap, not nessicarily the worst but it was stuff I dance to cuz hip-hop dance is becoming my profession. Im generally a very animated, hyped up happy person who dances all the time. But maybe it was the fact taht I had absorbed the negative energy of the songs I was listening to cuz my friends werent around and I was in a mall that was full of people whos lifestyles I dont agree with(Gays, no offence to any of them I just dont believe its right), but in any case I had the worst mug on, I saw people I knew and they asked me why I looked like that. the worst part was I didnt even know I had that expression on my face.
Now on his information, WHERE ARE HIS FACTS FROM. Most elements of HIPHOP STARTED IN THE UNITED STATES. so where is this information coming from what book or website is this told in.
and onther fact he doesnt touch on is the fact that much of the history of hip-hop outside of the mainstream is not recorded its passed down. Especially the real hip-hop dance form(Breaking, Popping and locking are FUNK Styles).
Personally I think some of it is bogus and some is true. I do not believe that all hip-hop is evil. He does make some valid points but there is too much in the air and I know too much about some of the roots of hip-hop to really say all hip-hop is the devil. I was say that it is secular. But Im not gonna just say theres no way to take elements of good hip-hop and add gospel and not have a good result. O yeah and there is some good christian rap, Its just not the mainstream crap that makes it to TV. Trust me on this one I cant stand christian rap and this group blew me away. If You would like to here it go to Myspace.com/remnantmusic
Pastor G Craig Lewis is very mistaken on his views of Hip Hop. Many true Hip Hop heads would tell him that Hip Hop does not promote homosexuality, devil worship, murder, etc. True Hip Hop heads would tell him that they detest those who try and pervert their music. I’d like to clear up some misconceptions about Hip Hop.
If Hip Hop has it’s roots in voodooism, so does just about every modern form of music. Rock, Hip Hop, Blues, R&B, Pop, Country, etc. all have their roots in the heathen music of the slaves. Are we to abandon all music just because it has it’s roots in an old religion? If so, as someone said before, we should abandon Christmas, seeing as it has it’s roots in a Roman holdiay celebrating a sun god. During said holiday, the men would get together, have sex with each other, beat their wives, and exchange gifts. Should we also abandon Christianity as well, seeing as Judaism, father to modern Christianity has its roots in Zoroastrianism?
Minister Lewis played a song by Jay Z in which he says 666 Murder Jesus when played backwards. This song was not actually Jay Z, and was not approved by him in anyway. DJ Dangermouse made a mixtape combining Jay Z’s lyrics with The Beatles beats. Dangermouse simply cut and spliced together different words together to make this sound.
Minister Lewis is a demagogue. Using fear, he uses half truths to spread lies and make a fortune. If we go back enough years, we can see Senator McCarthy, whom most believed to be a godsend, persecuted, executed, and imprisoned many in a moral panic caused by the Red Scare. Most of his victims were innocent.
G Craig Lewis and exministries are full of shit. This guy is just spreading this stuff to any one who will listen in order to make a dollar. Frontin in the name of the Lord aint cool. He’s headed to hell faster than most of the rappers hes JUDGING (Thats Gods Job) Its people like him that make kids not want to be involved in the church in the first place.
You can not glorify god with hip hop if its a religion the person who created hiphop africa bambarda whatever hes name is made hiphop into a religion by believing the black man is god and sayin there is no jesus christ the only way for him to make you worship other gods is by music cause the beats are soo good u just dance with out finding out the history for more info go to http://www.exministries.com
ok if i were all of you i would watch my mouth about what you speak about the man of God the Bible says touch not my anointed or do and do my prophet no harm now you may say your not physically touching him but the Lords ways are not his ways and your thougts are not his thoughts, now back to what I was going to say now regaurdless of what you say about this man every word he said was true you say it was not Jay Z that wrote the song from the black album even if you are right which you are not are you stepping to the defense of an anti-christ rapper in contrast and opposition to a Holy Ghost filled man of God if so then maybe many of you need to go back to the alter and also this man is pointing out things that have needed to be pointed out for many years the gospel music has been changing for years tell me one singer or group other than the Mississippi Mass Choir (God bless them) that even sounds close to a hymn of the church the reason that you are defending these rappers every one of you that said that there are errors or what he says is bogus or hes just trying to make money you are the same ones that would say the same things about the bible be cause thats what he is preaching and teaching you are probably the same ones that are in favor of the davinci code you probably believe in the quran and allah and not the Father and his Son Jesus because if you really had the holy ghost and it was like fire shut up in your bones then this mans teachings and preachings would be right down your alley see im always Church of God in Christ and this man was just what the Lord sent this mans preaching was like a revival the Lord aloud him to go and first find all of these rappers and r&b singers and even some so called gospel singers like Tonex let me tell you something personally that i have heard on the radio brotha Tonex has a new broadcast called,”Club Virtue” now i really know the word and the Bible says God says be not conformed to the world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind now as i recall the club is most definately part of the world and let me point out another thing about Tonex he has some kinda way gotten a gospel singing legend that know a bit about the old time way and pulled her into his new way of gospel mixed with rap please git over it like the brother Craig Lewis said rap has no place in Gods house be ye holy for I am holy thats what Jesus said and this rap is definately not holy i mean honestly how do you really think this hip-hop gospel sounds to the old mothers of the church and those old decons and i know the ones in my Church of God in Christ do not approve of it if you really had the holy ghost something just wouldnt sound right to you about that music that gospel mixed with rap and as a matter a fact im looking forward to his next recording and i pray that he brings up the new era of gospel music that is basically all rap or all r&b like ruben studdard all of you that are in defense of anything that this man speaks against you must be glorifying wordly bodies and not Christ and you say were not supposed to judge our brothers and sisters in Crist man please maybe he dont want your blood or my blood on his hands and plus i can guarantee when he get to the gates the Lord will say well done enter into the joy of the LORD and any of you that is in defense of the rap music you will get a depart from me i know you not and yes because he whose name was not found in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire this man is being led by God a can feel this mans annointing yeah thats a gift that God has given to me being able to feel out peoples annointing but any way why would any of you speak in defense of a worldly culture now if anything you outta be trying to get those rappers and r&b singers and even backsliding gospel singers fully converted over to Jesus if you care so much about them thats what i believe in any case with out a vision people parish this man has a vision of trying to get all of you to see the truth behind hip hop and its ties to the devil and it is his music he even explained how the devil was an angel that made music but was jealous of Jesus and wanted to have Gods throne and was cast out of Heaven so any way you put it when the devil got to earth and we came along he lost his place in heaven and he doesnt want us to make it to the place that he cant live anymore so what better to do than to flood our minds whith something that is easy to hear and not hard to find and not to expensive you can even hear it on your radio now you can critisize the annointed men of God if you want to but your mad at the truth like they say the truth hurts I know but a word of advice watch your mouth when talking about the real men of God that have been washed in the blood of the Lamb, and filled with Gods precious Holy Ghost, and baptised with the Holy Ghost in alot of ways what many of you are saying is blaspheme this man is annointed an appointed by God now for many of you youd be good to watch how you are claiming the Holy Ghost and being anointed and even being saved like they always say at my church and is so true everybody that say they saved aint saved now i have a question for you that oppose brother Craig Lewis would annointed really have a different view of the will of God than that of another annointed i would think not i love everybody i aint mad at any of you but i just had to point out that this man has found his place in the will of God and you need to find yours to thanks for yor time.
There is just so much foolishness it makes me sick.
When it all comes down to it. And this is for every person. The blog needs to just end. If YOU dont have the desire to change then it will not make since to you. Period
When YOU realize it is not about YOU, it is about the word of GOD.
And when we stop having a FAN (a true follower) mentality we can stop taking up for Hip hop and a bunch of mess. People act like Hip hop died on the cross for you.
Wake up people of God. The message is harsh. YES, and that’s exactly what it needs to be.
Of course not every one, but there are a bunch of people on here cryin like babies about how they feel. And what was incorrect.
You know darn well the industry is foul.
If you are gonna be about it, at least don’t act like there is nothing wrong with it. You see the things G Craige sees in the culture. Difference is, you love it.
I am speaking to all. Have you ever loved something so much, that you did not wanna let it go? I am the first to admit. I HAVE.
I am done with excuses. No more takin up for celebrities that don’t even know you. It’s not even about G Craige. It is the message. It is so powerful. Thank you Jesus
im onestly believe that lewis is religious.
ok ther are musicians ho worship the devil, hip hopers, rock musicians, country musicians and musicians.not evetry hip hoper, rapper worship the devil.thoose ho worship the devil,im not listen too,and its not written that it will come hip hopers too the church, its written that it will come fake preachers, prophets and fake teachers.they will do miracles and they will have a teaching ho lead too hell.what about christian rap music ho realy are christian, will they go to hell too?No i dont think ore believe that.i believe that GOD created lucifer and lucifer is a musician.but GOD is the creator of all ho is created and exists.that will say that GOD is a better musician than the devil. And GOD can even rap much better then the devil. The first poet i knowis king David.
David he wrote from hes heart, things ho happened when he was in war, when he struggled and prayed to GOD.David also wrote poetry about GOD ho saved him many times from hes enemies. The same way is the rap music, its people rhyming about their struggle, and how their life is.afcourse it is rappers, hip hopers ho have bad lyrics about sex, drugs, money and every bad thing, and their gloryfie it.but its a big different between them and thoose real poets ho wrote and raps about their life how it was ore is,bad things and good things.people ho was raised on the streets have their hard time strugglin just like my self.and some rappers may have started that way,and ther falled in temptetion of succsess and they believed their are somekind of god.And its shure rappers ho know what their doin evil and still goin on.The bible tells us that we also are gods, but not bigger then Abraham,Isak, and Jakobs GOD.GOD have given people gifts, and its up too the people too juse their gifts too good ore bad.ive heard a big talent rapper ho is a christian brother, and hes name is bbjay.he have truly good lyrics and skillz ho can lift hes people up.Amen! Its time that the Christian rappers make something good, its the time for Gods people to take the good music back.creat something new.that other unsaved people can feel the salvation very strong, and become Christians.Something pure clean strong masculine warrior rap music.Take it back cause babylon gonna fall.
I don’t agree in his biblical beliefs, the bible is not only written towards hip hop. He does have good points, Rap is just words being expressed but HIP HOP is tearing our country apart.
First, rappers have nothing to help the cause. By default people use them to stereotype afro-Americans. Why do people think blacks drive dubs, smoke weed, and are drug dealers.
Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X would turn over in their grave is they find out whats going on. THEY represented us to the bone. They fought for a cause, they fought for equality.
These idiots scream discrimination… why? because they dress like the rappers in the video, they have multiple partners, drive dubs, smoke weed. Thats not a afro-American, that is hip hop. Are you stupid?? You need to be yourself, don’t be someone else. 50 cent isn’t you!
There is a bad stereo type out there because of those dumb rappers.
Every ghetto is the same, they have the same type of living in there. I have seen white ghettos that are just as bad as black ghettos. Chi town, DC, Maryland… they are all the same.
We as a people need to represent our race positively. Instead of becoming judges, lawyers, congressmen… we want to be become drug dealers and pimps. If we spent as much time in our education instead of buying dubs and ice links… We wouldn’t be in our situation.
I read a report that 2pac spent 10 millions dollars in 4 years. Where was his education? I know he was from the streets. I am too but I also know how to invest, I learned that early. I knew money in my pocket is better than blowing it on 22 cars.
After awhile, you decision are not based on Right or Wrong because you are old enough to know better. They are based on Good, Better and Best for your life. Read the report half of these rappers are broke!
Also, these rappers are not hard. they said they rep their ghetto but they are all sold out. Most of them live in a 50 million dollar home in a white neighborhood.
That how I feel, I am a 26 year old afro-American from the ghettos of DC. I’ve gotten stabbed and I stole, looking back that is all stupid! I work as a Network Engineer and I DON’T DRIVE ON DUBS, I DON’T WEAR ICE LINKS, and I DON’T WEAR A HUGE CHAIN ON MY NECK. Thats HIP HOP and thats NOT ME!!!!!!!!
I can understand where Ex-Ministries is coming from but, Anybody who is an avid Hip-Hop fan (appreciates some of it for what it’s worth, NOT WORSHIPS UNDER IT) knows that not all rap music glorifies sex, murder and crime. Alot of these rappers nowadays gets thier 15 seconds of fame and say whatever they want that will have people to go out and buy thier album. I can admit that about alot of rappers nowadays and, to me, that rap is garbage. What about those preferrably 10-25 years before that had a positive message in thier music and were artists because they loved it, not because they wanted anything to gain from it. You’re telling me that Biz-Markie, A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, and other people from thier genre of hip-hop were Devil Worshippers? Guess What?! Stay out of Washington DC then. As many references to the devil if you knew about them, that would feel like Capitol Hill is the second coming of Sodom and Gommoroh.
Minister G. Craig Lewis said this himself and I will repeat it. As we know, we put our trust in these people of God (or whoever proclaims they are) and feels like whatever they say is true. We put our trust in these ministers and preachers and trust them. Why? because we want to do the right thing and be guided in the right direction. Me? I pray about it and ask the lord to guide me to the right people and/or to do the right thing. From what I learned up to 24 even learning about some of these people, they can decieve you corrupt you and some of what these people say is a matter of pride or . . . personal opinion; they think it and feel as though they have the wisdom to proclaim it as truth so, therefore it is . . to them. Let’s not forget how easy it is to manipulate the bible to justify personal beliefs and agendas.
Another thing he really questions me about is Gospel Hip Hop? How can you say Rapping the gospel is Satanic? These are people and organizations that helped people. Where have I heard about exministries being famous for much more than thier rants of Hip Hop being the devil?
If G. Craig Lewis is sending a Message that Hip Hop is bad, why does’nt he touch all bases: Corrupted Rock, Country even Corrupted Gospel Music and there’s alot more. And what is this about him even as much as criticizing other ministers and preachers, “He without sin cast the first stone? Yeah, I bet he thinks he’s perfect; He’s got that I’m better than others mentality as well.
why does it seem that it is only me who catches the spiritual aspect of what u r saying! Not a question, just the way i feel. it’s amazing how people come into information and it not make a change in there life, matter of fact amazing is the wrong word, what i really mean is upsetting! Keep doin wat ya doin, hold on to d LORD wit all ur heart and without compromise. Pray ur anointing continue to grow, jus some encourage from trinidad. BLESSED LOVE FLO!
First of all, few rappers worship the devil. Second, nobody knows what hip hop artists actually feel gods spirit or worship him. It is not your job to judge hip hop artists, or anybody for that matter. That is gods job. Also, hip hop has its own messages about the life others live. You don’t have to agree with it, or live their life to understand or enjoy the music. Live your own life by the book and try not to worry about other people that don’t mean anything to you. Also, I think some of you’ll are racist.
Ok guys.
I saw that bullsh** on youtube yesterday. First im a new born Christian and i know whats going round in this world. I believe that there is a devil and i belive that he is trying to pervert or destroy anything positiv.
I know that god speaks up clearly and what he speaks is the truth. The Reverend in this film does not. He has lots of enormous mistakes in his message. He uses information out of the context and puts them together as he wants them to fit. God is the truth that also means he would never use lies to speak to the people.
I think god gave us brain to see whats good and whats evil. I really love Hiphop because it is a powerfull form of music and i dont let somebody paint the devil on my wall. I got a good feeling over my music library.
I’ve been sitting back reading these posts and articles and perusing the exministries website and have come to this conclusion. A lot of what they say on that website is sound, clear, and makes perfect sense. The primary difference in what hip-hop has done, and rock and roll, particularly heavy metal in the 70s and 80s is that hip-hop was open to commercializing itself and watering down itself early on, whereas rock wasn’t always this way. He had artists like Mc Hammer, for example, that on the surface embodied the true spirit of what we like to say is real hip-hop, and wouldn’t digress to talking about the sin that the culture often represents.
As far as being a Christian for years I won’t disrespect anyone’s intelligence with that type of rhetoric, but I will say this. From the beginning there was a very hedonistic, worldly, secular, anti-god or “I am God” mentality in hip-hop, from the very, very beginning. It just took a few years for it to materialize into a movement, and KRS-ONE was very instrumental in that. We have to be honest with ourselves, having fun and kicking it, absent of worshipping God or having any intention of doing so, or thinking that we can do so without God is hedonistic. How many times in the past have we seen arguments made for having a good time that just set up an environment for drug abuse and sexual abuse later on in life; what made us think that hip-hop would be any different.
I listened to Wu-Tang clan, X-Clan, and a lot of these other supposedly positive groups that were definitively anti-Christian, not really caring, and defending my right to do so because of the “strength” of the lyrics. We have to understand that chances are, the more intelligent and savvy the artist, the slicker, the more of a danger they are. Even Russell Simmons himself said that Jay-Z sort of represented the devil in ways. Now what exministries did trying to portray Jay-Z saying those numbers and murder on the backmasking is suspect, because of the Danger Mouse mix; but Jay-Z is supporting blasphemy by saying that he is Jehovah. You can’t just keep saying “well they don’t believe in God themselves, not my God anyway”, well then why do you listen to them?
Listen I don’t know about any of you, but the more I read inbetween the lines of what artists like Jay-Z and Nas were saying, particularly the spirits they embodied, that do anything, at any cost, to get and stay ahead attitude that resonates from them it was difficult to listen to them. I found it hard to keep listening to Pac after “Hail Mary”, now how you can call yourself a Christian and listen to those records without any consequence and think that you haven’t invited the spirit of the Antichrist in is totally beyond me.
It’s just so, so, obvious. I can’t lie, I get a taste for some beats every now and then, and find myself listening to the music for a few minutes; but then I hear something ridiculous and have to turn it off. You have to ask yourself; a genre that was pretty clean for years when it was struggling for acceptance is now open and unapologetic about it’s agenda now that it doesn’t have any C Delores Tucker or Bob Dole trying to eradicate it. Plus you can hear hip-hop flavored beats in any genre of music these days. It makes you think; I don’t agree in him attacking artists the way he does, but then again why does the Cross Movement attack him as vehemently as they do either? In fact, why is the Cross Movement positioning themselves the way that they are within hip-hop and the church simultaneously to begin with. Stop listening to beats so much and get an overall appreciation of music, all music, and you will find that hip-hop isn’t as important as you once thought that it was …
I have seen the DVD of this message. I can plainly see that this man is telling the truth I even threw away all hip-hop cd’s. This man is not a liar and people must stop critising him because his is speaking something that comes from the holy spirit. So he cannot lie because if he lies about that holy spirit he will call a curse upon himself. So we as the children of God we must just get the message that Hip-Hop is bad is not about it’s history or what as long as something is glorifying anything that’s bad then it should be out of the church because that is where the devil’s target is.
You know the funny thing is…..when God told Noah to build the ark no one had ever seen rain. People said the same things to Noah that those who are arguing with Craig Lewis are saying. (God didn’t say that, there’s no such thing as rain, don’t judge us.)
The funny thing is, Satan has you just as bound up as he had the people in Sodom and Gomorah. Don’t ever be stupid enough to challenge God to destroy anything, HIS mercy endures for a reason and a season then his judgement comes. His judgements are seldomly “pats on the wrist” just look at the phillistines.
Sex, lust, drugs, murder, homosexuality and wickedness is FUN to those whom HE has given over to a reprobate mind. If you listen, his ministry is not to rid the world of hip hop….he is saying, “GOD has had it with his “people” using the world’s crap to try and bless him. God doesn’t need that mess in his face. Craig is not the first prophet that God has raised up, he’s the one God used to get your attention. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit you would know that the spirit of God knows the mind of God. God is not in ANY HIP HOP. He is very specific. Here’s the title of a great book you can read…THE BIBLE. Then once you’ve read it, ask the Holy Spirit to give revelation. PS- if Lewis was sent by Satan, then NO ONE would oppose it.
i also want two say i watch the dvd and its was very shocing two know i was worshipping satan. hope GOD WILL GIVE MORE VISONS LIKE THAT AND TWO THE YOUHT PLz OPEN UR EYES AND HEARS AND HEAR GOD BLESS
I am a mother of 5 preteens and teenagers. I have always forbidden hip hop to be played in my home. It just did not sit right in my spirit. After watching the Truth dvd’s it was all confirmed. I am just sorry that I was not more steadfast in my decision to forbid this music all these years. What is interesting is all of the Christians that are coming out against G Craig’s messages. It is so wild to see the deception in the church that would rise up and defend a music genre that glorifies all things antichrist being copied in the church. I want to encourage all of the youth who are able to see the light to pray. You will not be able to convince your friends through arguing. You are witnessing a divine deception that can only be torn down through spiritual warfare.
LAWRENCE.
i must admit first that i’m not much of a church goer, ut i know my right from wrong, i spend time to speak to GOD, and i know what to accept as the truth and i 100% agree with Craig on the issue of hip hop and i felt sick to my stomach sfter watching the dvd.
No jokes! after watching the dvd i went straight to my car and rip off my cd player completely without thinking twice, because i believe this brother is telling the truth and nothing but the truth.
So please i beg everyone who has seen this dvd to pray to GOD to soften their heart and open their eyes so that they might see the truth. AMEN
I would just say to everyone who don’t believe the gospel that God has given Mr. Lewis to rebuke the demons that are keeping them from the word of God. You can say what you want to say, but in order for you hip- hoppers to hear the word of God you must first confess that Jesus is the Son of God and he died for your sins. Then you must also repent your sins and ask for God to come into your life right now! If you were a believer you would know that my bother Mr. Lewis has a (what they would call it in the world)– “ valid point” (but spiritually) has a divine revelation as a servant of God to help deliver souls from the pits of hell. In order for you to get saved, you must want it! How can you save some one who wants the things that are not of you?” How could you call some one your Father when you do not obey him like a son?” Understand me, none believers those who do not obey God and live with God, he can not call you his child and those who are lost draw near to the Lord and get saved so you can remember your father. Hip-hop is the father of those who live by it! It is spiritually play into your souls, it teaches you to do evil things- there for it is not of God! You must understand, it is of this world. Anything not made of God is of the devil- as hip- hop. Why would God tell little girls to have sex, his sons to kill, or his neighbors to lye, cheat, and disobey his word? It did not come from God so if you want to be SAVED STOP listening to the devils gospel, which goes against Gods word. If you don’t obey the Heavenly father as his sons and daughters, then you are obeying the devil like a son or a daughter. God says in the bible “ YOU ARE BEHAVING LIKE YOUR FATHER OF THE WORLD” which is the devil… Sister and brothers choose before its to late Christ died on the cross for us, we must kill our flesh by denying it from all things of this world that gives us pleasure and learn how to live with the lord spiritually.
LOOK in a way I kind of agree with him Hip-hop does talk about sex, drugs, lies ,but u have to understand not all Hip-hop videos n songs are about stuff like that .Tupac used hip-hop as a way to express what he had been trought from his chilhood till the day he died ,Kanye West in one video has askes jesus to help him because his life is falling apart ,Plus who does G.Criage Lewis think he is he claims he can talk to god ,He says in one of his videos he was reading the bonez thugs n harmony cd from 1997 backwards on the mirror n the Holy spirit told him to stop n told him why he had made Lucifer ,plus if u really hear that song by Jay-z it doesnt says MURDER JESUS , I aint saying that all this man says ,becuase i dont blame him every one with their opinion towards things but also there are songs out there that are not about killin , like umbrella Rhiana, Talk to me George and others , Plus why do you people believe theres a devil , maybe there is no such thing as the devil maybe the devil was just something that some one made up to blame all the dirty deeds they did or the people in the world did because there is a god and Jesus does exist because i believe in them not just becuase some rap or hip hop song had influence me its because i do believe in him but saying that devil exist is like saying witches exist no one can prove that they do but God they can because there is a mighty bieng that created us all , and like one of the people who have posted here said ” dont listen to what you think will rot your mind listen to other stuff that you think isnt that bad n wont rott your mind”, also PEOPLE DONT BE FAKE STICK TO WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN STRAP TO THOSE U CAN ACHIEVE IN , not just because this man is famous and telling you hip hop is bad n you love music throw away all your music its your choice dont wait for nobody to tell you what to do, “I think Therefore I AM” that means if you think you know u exist but if u dont then theres no point in living because your life will always b controlled by those who take advantage of you,
Yours Truly
